As a government relations consultant, Ian is skilled at helping clients obtain funding from the NYC City Council. His strong professional relationships with council members and other elected officials, in addition to his extensive understanding of the council budget process, has helped clients secure hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding from the council. 

Over the past decade, Ian has guided clients with thorough research, analysis, monitoring, and covering hearings and protests, and has advocated for specific legislation. He is an active campaign volunteer, cultivating relationships with NYC Council members and other elected officials early in their careers. 

Ian’s clients benefit from his large network and his keen ability to synthesize dense materials into concise, comprehensive briefs—a skill that he sharpened early while interning in the Office of the Westchester County Executive, where he wrote numerous studies on policy issues.
